As I stated in the previous photo, it is said that the Temple of the Condor was possibly used as a sacrificial altar. I also indicated that there are a series of caverns around and below this temple. In my meanderings around this area, I stumbled across a small room adjacent to and below the Temple of the Condor to find to my surprise a blood-looking substance oozing from the natural stone. What surprised me even more was the recent blood found directly below and to the left of the stone. I actually went up to the mamoth boulder and wiped my finger accross the thick liquid substance. It felt like blood!
So the question is why now? There hasn't been any sacrifices that I am aware of performed here in several centuries! Is it possible that Pachamama (Mother Earth) is producing this blood naturally? Or could it be that the blood from previous sacrifices is still oozing from the earth? There is more to this story which I share in my blog at creatorsdream.com.
