The Solfeggio Scales - Healing Sounds for 2012

Water Crystal Imagery for Healing SoundsEver since I was touched by the Apu Putucusi in Machu Picchu, Peru, I have been researching many facets of what may be coming as we approach December 21, 2012. It's been an enlightening ride! One that is not yet over. In the process of all of this research I have started to become aware of the changes that are happening to myself and my perceived reality. I have become aware of the need for harmony among family and friends. Seems that as we are getting closer to 2012 that my senses are becoming more acute. Not to say that this is great. In fact, sometimes its quite painful.

I'm sure you've heard the term "love hurts." Love hurts when I learn that my beloved no longer loves me. I think most of us who have loved someone and then learn that they no longer love us, that we go through a hurt and grieving process. But what about when we see the people we love hurting because of something that is happening to them that they either can not control or that they are not aware of how the pain has come into their lives? What can we do to aleviate the pain they are going through? Should we even get involved in attempting to "come to their aide?"

The Illusion of Reality

Illusion of RealityHere's scientific evidence that we really do "create our realities!" Professor Jim Al-Khalili explores how studying the atom forced us to rethink the nature of reality itself. He discovers that there might be parallel universes in which different versions of us exist, finds out that empty space isn't empty at all, and investigates the differences in our perception of the world in the universe and the reality.

The important thing I got out of this video is that our perception of reality is a personal experience in which each of us create and yet, there is something that which allows us to share this personal experience with others. And then to realize that there are many simultaneous realities occurring at the same time we are experiencing this one is truly amazing!

This is the first video interview I have produced for the CreatorsDream.tv web site. If you are interested in seeing how the Creator within each of us creates his/her reality, then I believe you will be interested in seeing the steps a young man has taken to create his reality as a hooper. The beauty about this story is that he now shares the knowledge of the hoop path which centered his mind, body, and soul to anyone who is interested in finding their own center.

Baxter, Hooppaths hooping instructor, relates his story of how he came to hooping and how this form of exercise has allowed him to heal his mind, body, and soul. Baxter gives us a glimpse of how we can learn to center ourselves so that we can live a better and more fulfilling life. There are many paths which we can follow to reach enlightenment. Some may think of this as "awakening our true essence" while others see it as a way to "center ourselves." I find it very interesting that something as simple as a child's toy - the Hoola Hoop - can be used to create a new reality for those who choose to learn the Hooppath way of hooping.

Blacksmithing in Peru and Finding a Friend

Hummingbird arial photo taken over the Nazca Lines, Nazca, Peru

Inca Mystic ShadowI recently returned from my second trip to Peru as a demonstrator for a series of blacksmithing workshops sponsored by Aceros Arequipa. Even though I was there for a month and traveled to Huancayo, Lima, and Piura, I did not have time to go to any of the sacred sites. I did however meet a very knowledgeable tourist guide named Gonzalo Cardenas Luque while eating in a great restaurant in Lima. Gonzalo gave me the picture on the left of the Inca Mystic Shadow. Isn't this an amazing photograph?

It was around 11 pm when I decided to try a new restaurant in the Miraflores district of Lima, Peru. It didn't look like there were many people eating in this quite, clean and warmly lit contemporary styled restaurant. So I decided to go in and try it out. It was getting late into the evening but not so late for the Peruvians. I've found that eating after 9 pm is a standard in this country of amazing foods.

I went in and asked in my second language, Spanish, if they were still serving. The answer was "of course" and I was told to sit anywhere I like. So I sat close to the food counter and with a view to the entrance and patio. A very nice young man came over and introduced himself as the manager of the restaurant. His name was Gonzalo. Since there were not many people, we began to talk about my reason for being in Peru. I explained to him about the main reason I was in Peru and then told him about my secondary reason.

Touched by Putucusi in Machu Picchu

I would like to share with you a mystical experience I had while visiting Machu Picchu! Let me start by saying that my plans during my trip to Peru included a visit to Machu Picchu and be in Aquas Calientes on March 3, 2007 so that I could experience the full moon and total lunar eclipse. I did arrive to my destination, but did not physically get to see it due to clouds and rain throughout the night. I later found out from the bus driver to Machu Picchu that Pachamama always gets cleansed with rain when there is a lunar eclipse. This was news to me!

Bus to Macchu PicchuMachu Picchu Eastern Urban SectorAnyway, the following morning I left with a group to go to Machu Picchu from Aquas Calientes at 6 am. This was great because there was hardly any visitors at the site this early in the morning. I was awe struck when I planted my feet into this sacred site! I found my tour group and spent the next two hours listening to the standard information about the Incas and such. This was nice, but it really wasn't what I was hoping to get out of my visit. However, moving around with the group and listening to the tour guide did ease me into the experience.
